This year, I decided to take a solo trip, and I had an amazing time! Honestly, I never really understood why people are afraid to travel alone. I loved it—and bonus—it’s often cheaper!
Traveling solo gave me the freedom to explore at my own pace and fully immerse myself in each country’s culture, food, and people. I visited Vietnam, Thailand, and South Korea, experiencing everything from bustling markets and historic landmarks to local street food and night markets.
As someone who grew up with very little, I believe it’s so important to see the world. Traveling changes your perspective—you gain a deep appreciation for life and a better understanding of how others live.
