One Last Conversation

Some people are placed in our lives to teach us how soft and kind this world can be. Their sole purpose is to enhance you. To help you. To encourage you. To watch you mature. Fortunately, I was able to meet a great mentor who was able to teach me about life from a variety of standpoints.

Life is truly a teacher. It can at times be a strict teacher, but I believe life lessons come from a place of love. With that being said, many of my life lessons were taught from a difficult platform, but they were softened by my family I created. My support. My mentor… K.M.

One Last Conversation

This is dedicated to my mentor, my friend… my inspiration. Rest In Peace My Friend.

If I could have one last conversation with my mentor, I would ask her how was she able to successfully serve her purpose and impact so many lives. I would ask her when did she discover her purpose and how did she know it was her purpose. If I could have one last conversation.

If I could have one last conversation with my friend, I would tell her thank you. Thank you being kind and supportive. Thank you for never judging and always being present. Thank you for all you have done to protect me and my family. Thank you for showing me the kindness this world has to offer. If I could have one last conversation.

If I could have one last conversation with my inspiration, I would tell her I’ve never met anyone as brave as her. I would ask her how was she able to remain positive when life wasn’t fair to her in her last days. I would ask her where did she find the strength to continue on. I would let her know the impact she’s made on me.

If I could just have one more conversation with you.

I encourage you all to seek a  supportive friendship/mentor relationship with a person who is able to provide you with all of life lessons wrapped in a pretty bow.
